I wonder what power chip and DAC it uses (Likely the TI 3116 for audio amp)?
The reviews (and the above spec sheet) say it is a TPA 3221 amp, which apparently has less power but similar specs to the popular 3255 but does not require an op amp. The reviews say the DAC is Fosi's own design.

I just bought one, like it so far, but ran into an operating question that for me is important.

The remote control has bass/treble which is convenient, but unlike the remote volume, it operates independently from the controls on the unit. The base/treble knobs have a center detent for flat, but there is no reference in the manual as to how to return the remote bass/treble to flat once someone hits a button. There is no indicator and the "reset" on the remote is for bluetooth. If Fosi or someone knowledgeable as to how this works it would be helpful. Having two sets of independent tone controls really requires the ability to determine where flat is.

The MC331 is not a popular topic...but since I raised the question of how to reset the remote bass/treble controls to flat, I am posting Fosi Audio's answer as it is not in the manual or FAQ so far:
"The remote control has a total of 28 adjustment levels for bass, ranging from ±14dB, with each level representing 1dB.
If you want to return it to the initial position (0dB), you can increase it to the maximum, then adjust it down 14 times using the remote.

Regarding treble: The remote control has a total of 16 adjustment levels, ranging from -8dB to +8dB in 1dB increments.
To return to the initial position (0dB), if the treble is at maximum (+8dB), you need to adjust it downwards 8 times using the remote control."

This should work. To prevent accidental tone adjustment in the future I will just not use the remote. Hopefully, a future firmware will provide some indication (say, the front LED blinks twice) to show users where flat/reset is on the remote tone adjustment.

Thanks, looking at this unit for desktop/computer use so the weird independent tone control probably not an issue for my use case. Agree it's a strange setup/hope they remedy it.
