The reviewer insisted on buying the test unit. This clearly proves the outstanding quality of our digital active speaker ava. Read more in the detailed report by Amré Ibrahim in the renowned German magazine „image hifi“!

ava and neo are DSP-controlled active loudspeakers. The attached measurements were made in a measuring room and refer to the delivery status. After calibration and correction in the respective listening room, the results naturally deviate.

You obviously have a very different definition of the word "proves". A subjective reviewer that decides to keep the unit, is as removed from proof as if going to church proves the existence of god.

Measurements? Or at least a link to measurements? There are two subjective reviews on your site, without data to back it up. Opinions without numbers won't get you any credence here. If you want some "cred", send one in to have Amir measure it. I see you're a new member, welcome to ASR where admission is free... credibility comes at the cost of data and scientific review... hence the name of the site.

On a positive note, subjectively I really like the look of your speakers. Give us the measurements to give a reason to like them objectively. Otherwise, these subjective reviews are an objective waste of time. Send one in to quell these heretical rumblings.

Looks are really nice though.
If it measures the way it looks we have a good combination.

You're new here, aren't you?

They seem to use the big brothers of the genelec amps (Pascal) with ample power.

Hello and welcome to ASR. Please see here, since you are a manufacturer rep;

Assuming no excessive smoothing, the measurements look quite good. I expect the aesthetics may be pleasing to people who find studio style gear like Genelec unacceptable (D&D manage that too of course).

From what I see till now probably sounds and measures well, although truth to be said the coaxial driver is a bit primitive compared for example to the current Genelec and KEF ones which shows also at the linked horizontal isobars which aren't as smooth as.

Welcome to ASR.

I moved this into the appropriate thread for dealers, and you will be getting a PM from one of our team to outline what is expected of people here from within the industry.

Are you planning or hoping to send a unit to our host for review?

The administrative and financial effort is very high to send the large and heavy flight cases for a review to another continent. Maybe we can combine this with a HiFi show. Or can such a review also be done by an editor in Germany who is qualified according to your standards?

The cost to ship one speaker is money well spent when considering the quality and credibility that comes with a disinterested review by someone of Amir's world class capabilities. Amir's Technical Background This is NOT the job of an "editor" in Germany or anywhere else. It's the job of an audio scientist that has the proper equipt., training and adherence to scientific method that will publish the results. Otherwise, I don't think any amount of side stepping the measurement issue is going to appease the collective knowledge and BS detectors of ASR, especially when your "proof" is that the reviewer bought the sample. :facepalm:
