In my home theater, the L+R speakers are Acoustic Research (Teledyne) AR9 driven by an Adcom GFA-585 amplifier while the C speaker effectively is the top section of an AR9 driven by the bridged channel of an Adcom GFA-2535 crossed over at 200Hz. Is the input impedance of SMSL SP400 actually 47k?
I'm looking at replacing my Topping A50s with the SP400 as a headphone amp/preamp to my speaker amp. I'm curious to know if the input impedance stated by SMSL is real because my DAC (Denafrips Ares II) has oddly high output impedance which doesn't play well with the A50s' strangely low input...- Loomynarty
