    Genelec 8361A Review (Powered Monitor)

All there in the manual: "The adjustment range for the time-of-flight is from 0 ms (no additional delay) to 45…200 ms, depending on the product."

    Genelec 8361A Review (Powered Monitor)

2 out of 3 wrong: Phase = Delay, so yes Crossover yes (50-100hz every 5hz steps) Every setting is customizable for each and every individual speaker/subwoofer. (Of course for correct results you need external measurement)

    7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 IEM Review

If you want to nitpick between hearing and feeling, yes you can barely _feel_ the 8hz pulses with somewhat normal levels. I've been dabbling with lots of headphones and measurements and sinewaves in my past. Also I'm a bass fan with my 18" subs. I'd hope I know what clean bass sounds (and feels)...

    7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 IEM Review

Not hearing anything funny on mine. REW for generator, all clean from 50hz down to ~8hz which is barely perceptible.

    7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 IEM Review

I guess I'm a wired IEM fan now too, didn't have much experience there before. Spot on sound for my taste. Just plug and play with the standard tips and the around the ear cable is much more comfortable than I thought. Upgraded my old Sabaj DA2 to Fiio KA5 which resulted in not requiring autoeq...

FLAC Compression and what are you using

Why is this common misconception? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAV It can even contain compressed stuff. It's a container.

How Deep Must the Bass Be?

Maybe language barrier then, but lots of music have 30Hz content and even lower. It's silly to call it as some "sound effect" when it's clearly a part of the music (and not say some unintended microphone rumble). Whether 30Hz or 15kHz is "needed" for enjoyment, it's a completely personal issue.

How Deep Must the Bass Be?

So if everything even above 40Hz in some "song" is made of sound effects or synthesized sounds, is it still music? Don't know why even bother responding to these threads.. just leave the standard link here: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/bass.18999/

    How are Genelec subwoofers?

Atleast 1237/8A is off the shelf Pascal for bass/mid: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/genelec-ram-l-amplifier-teardown-pictures.24520/

    BASS!

Curious, but it's around -40dB which is not that audible (or should say feelable).

    Neumann's KH750 and AES3 PC interface

You don't need a new interface. Your RME DAC already has COAX S/PDIF out, which KH750 happily accepts per it's manual (lots more info there): You simply need a cheap RCA-BNC cable. And BNC-BNC between subs.

    Genelec Network via VLAN/Switch?

GLM uses RS485 serial protocol. It's not ethernet compatible so no switches can be used.

How NOT to set up speakers and room treatment ( Goldensound)

I like a dead room aka headphone sound, so won't even bother to read middle 20 pages of likely same old back and forth. Apparently we are already talking about drugs.

    Genelec W371A + 8361A

I reverse-cringe everytime I read comments wondering this. It's a short google away to realize how extremely popular single house living is around the world. Older 200-300k multi-storey house like mine is completely normal purchase with a mortgage even for a single person (atleast with an IT...

    New mysterious Genelec monitors

Price is ~70k€/pair (incl. VAT) according to well known source: https://audiovideo.fi/uutinen/genelec-8381a-valmistajan-uusi-paamonitori/ (edit: well it's now censored away) I was right that it's nearer 1236A than 1235A. :)

    New mysterious Genelec monitors

Ah ok I missed the pictures.. the bottom I guess is around 160 litres, it's enough for 2x15" tuned ~30hz?

    New mysterious Genelec monitors

Well it's full range enough, much more than 1235A. Similar to W371a, but yeah one can say it might need subs also. Does it make sense that 1236A costs double of 1235A, 80-90k vs 45k with only practical change being driver size (15" vs 18"). TOTL pricing does not need to make sense. One can hope...
