I have the same issue. My M500 has worked flawlessly for several months and suddenly remote not working ? I use it as a pre amp so not very happy right now. Not sure if its the remote or the sensor in M500. Any ideas ? Well, just unplugged and turned back on, voila, lol.

Just to get opinions of learned folks here, if I got a Windows 10 laptop and was able to stream higher resolutions, is it a difference that a non audiofile would hear ? Not a headphone user, my equipment is a rotel int amp and psb T4 towers. Thoughts ?

So then the 48 is the max I can do with a Chromebook ? If so, is the SMSL M500 an overkill for my situation ?

Probably posted before but I have my Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 hooked up to M500 , USB A to USB and using Qobuz streaming. Even though it is streaming 24k 96 the most I get on my M500 is 48 khz ? Any help appreciated. It does sound good to my ears, but wondering if it could be better.
