It's a 32V Fosi branded AC adapter. I can usually dangle the PSU by holding the cord - not even close in this case. Looks like it's mostly the cord though (seems normal when I use a cord for another PSU). Not exactly confidence inspiring if you ask me LOL. Thanks for confirming the positions...

It should theoretically work length wise (260mm internal length) but I guess we'll see....might be tight with the power inlet etc (enclosure should arrive this week but I haven't ordered the PSU yet :facepalm:) I like the UHP series since it's rated at the full 350W just attached to the case...

Yes it's input to pre/opamp to pot to 125ASX2 board. The 125ASX2 is the version 2 board. I opened and took some pics but not much to see - same board as what you can find online. For those that wonder the switch is plastic and volume knob is metal.

Hmm interesting...probably explains what I heard on my desktop system with DAC at full volume....sounds great in the living room where I have the DAC turned down as the preamp. Sounds very different than the DA9. Both are good..but different.

Thanks! As long as it works and doesn't break something and gets reasonable power levels it works for me for now (wasn't sure if the BTL / bridge implementation affected the ability to use an adapter :)) I hope to add a balanced DAC at some point down the line

Can you use an RCA to XLR adapter to utilize bridge mode in this case? The extra power is a little bit tempting but 2 amps AND a new DAC is out of the budget right now :)

There's plastic clip which has to be depressed but other than that it just takes a bit of pressure to detach. Had the amp for a bunch of days now...still looving it. :) My only complaint so far? 3 rubber feet instead of 4 are a bit tippy. -.-
