Not true. Here's a comparison of one Kii Three speaker where I used a 4 inch absorber on the first reflection on the floor vs on the sidewall just to get a sense of where to focus my panels. RED is floor absorption, GREEN is sidewall.

In terms of speaker EQ we always say that you should leave EQ well alone in areas where the group delay is messy. When it comes to headphones this rule seems to go out the window. What gives? What happens in the messy group delay area after EQ in the same area?
