OK then: Personally, the "big picture" is edifying enough for me to stay away for ever from any TEKTON product... Why would anybody think otherwise ?

My current speaker is the R900 (with EQ 41 Hz -10db). I have always found it a bit slow, lacking slam, and with a kinda "plastic" treble. Wondering if this R11 meta is significantly better...

+1. Thus like you also said, when the system is worse, there is a bad design/setup... ...and then IMHO, ASR is not there to help bad (system) manufacturers to get better...
