    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

Hi Toku, thank you for the guidance and input. At the time I was operating FT8 on 40m (7.074). I only realized what was happening when I heard the signal coming through my Edifier R1280t speakers in my office....a completely different room than where I was, haha. Those are always on and are used...

    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

An old FT-1000mp that someone modified for eSSB, and being that it's pushing nearly 200w (it's a 100w transceiver)...I'm assuming some other "mods" were done, I was testing it to start aligning it...and WHAMO!....took out my DAP2002.

Hey, at least you got a reply, I killed mine with RF while transmitting and it doesn't turn on at all. Sent them a message, never heard back.

Opamp was replaced. I tried a few different ones from Digikey... Currently the LM4562 are installed.

    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

Well, that didn't take long at all... I've got maybe a total of 6 hours of play out of my amp... And it's developed cracking in the right channel. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? 3e, anything I should try?

I'd be interested. I've got a ton of projects going right now, but I'm looking to replace the whole front panel with something....different.

3e Audio SY-DAP2002 Review (DSP Amplifier)

I used the same Op-amps in mine, but then also added the capacitors that were missing in my unit. I've also got the 8Ω one and would be willing to send it in if you wanted to test that, and see if there was a difference with the caps installed.

The amp supplies 12v (actually a hair under something around 11.9v) to the opamps.

Why would you want a 50 kHz vs the lower 34?

Gotcha, I'll be installing the 6.8nf then, thanks!

    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

What's the best option when it comes to installing the caps? Level 1, 2, or 3? I bought the caps for all three options just in case, but don't really feel like experimenting.

    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

Preliminary report...(couldn't wait for the capacitors to come) Wow, I took out the (most certainly knockoff) NE5532a's that came with the amp, swapped them out for the LM4562NA --- Sound phenominal OPA1612AIDR --- Same as above ADA4627 --- Wouldn't work, realllly low and heavily distorted...

The dip 8 vers. Will drop right in. Just be mindful of the polarity/direction.

    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

I just bought 2 of each of the following to test... LM4562NA OPA1612AIDR ADA4627 (Supposedly an OPA627 equivalent) NE5532AP (to confirm whether or not the ones that came with the amp were knock offs or not) I'll report back with findings.....crap, I should've ordered the caps and stuff too.....

3e, my apologies for my previous post. This is my first D Class amp (Car or Home) and never seen a signal like that before. I'm messaging the moderators to see if they can remove my previous post.

    3e Audio SY-DAPx002 TPA3250/TPA3255 DSP Amplifier

Holy crap...I put it on the scope today noting connected... No speakers, no Bluetooth, no RCA's...(see third) First thing I noticed, there is an audible hum/coming from the power supply while in standby mode. Second, while turning on and the LEDs are circling around, you hear a very very faint...
