For me, the SR6013 played better than the Denon 4700. I returned the Denon and to this day I regret that I sold the SR6013 before listening to the Denon 4700. Today I have the SR8015, which is a different level, but this experience cost me a lot of money. If the SR 7015 is cheaper, buy it.

I have a similar problem using Plex. The sound goes first and I have to set the sound on the amplifier to -100ms. It only does TrueHD-Atmos. If I turn off the AV and let the sound be decoded by the TV via HDMI pass through source, everything is fine. I think it's a Denon/Marantz update error...

I also returned 4700. I have exactly the same experience with 4700 vs SR6013. Unfortunately, I sold the SR6013 first.

I have the same experience with the X4700H, I returned it within a fortnight. I'm surprised you weren't attacked here, that you're deaf or that you hear what you want :D

Buy (according to the local SINAD) and sell at a loss and make your personal experience. Nothing beats it.

This is not my opinion, it is my personal experience. Write your personal experience on these AVRs. But if you have an unstoppable urge to write something theoretical, please don't? I won't even read it.

I had SR6013 and for a while Denon 4700. SR8015 sounds significantly better in stereo than SR6013 and much much better than 4700. In HT this difference will probably be erased. HT is just a terrible riot, although with the SR8015 the rear speakers sound better in some (non-action) movies. I use...

I read a lot and if external ones are used for LRC, the internal ones will remain unused and still you really need to buy two amplifiers for 7.2.4. This is a major mistake for me and I stay with SR8015.
