I have ordered two GIK soffit traps for test . But wonder how exactly you constructed your DIY ones ? And I am also getting advice from GIK.

This gave me idea to put center channel 8361 above tv with “just” 13 degree tilt using Genelec s360-444 wall bracket . Small kids dictates different solutions :)

Any plans to add sub also ? I got 8361s for awhile and planning to add 7380. Then see if I need w371s or other channels for atmos for similar budget .

@echopraxia Do you have / plan to add Genelec sub to your 5 ones ? I got two 8361s and wonder which way to expand. Guess 7380 first then center , and I got some placeholder q acoustics towers as rears . My take on 8361 - it is so good that most people including me do not need it :)

We just need real-time EQ with array of mics :)

Wonder what you think about my plan ? Having pair of 8361a and going to add 7380 sub , and ,maybe, w371 at some point (or surrounds, or both). Room is with big openings to two other rooms, but 5.5m x 4.8m x 2.9M . Room treatment somewhere around after sub point must happen I guess.

I got 8361s in 5x8 room with opening and lacking bass . @pierre do you think 2x 7370 would be reaching decent spl before bottoming out ?

I did not get sub for my 8020d yet - but I think genelec is way to go if budget allows. Also ideally need DSP to integrate well. Like 8320/8331 + 7350 and such.

I am aware of another USB to AES3 interface: https://www.yellowtec.com/puc2/puc2-lite.html Also was considering using coax outputs or buying expensive streamers . But ended up with RPI4 with PI2AES hat .
