Here is a recording of the artifact that Listener was pertaining to from the Headphones.com Discord, and happy to say I don't hear it in my Dusk DSP cable from several USB-C sources including an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, a Poco F3 Android Phone, and a Dell dock connected to a Dell Latitude...

It works and uses the default EQ in the DSP cable. Unfortunately, the Moondrop Link app in the Apple App Store doesn’t work with it.

Could the issue be related to the XMOS chip in the DAC? If so, there is a potential workaround here: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/xmos-driver-settings-for-no-cutoff-delay.25838/ I'm getting my unit later today, and will test as well.

Looks good, apparently: My unit came in last week, will post impressions soon, but sounds very good so far using Divinus Velvet tips!

Same experience, I had to change to foam ear tips, then the bass became excellent :)

From my collection , I would recommend the Salnotes Zero or the Moondrop Aria Snow / Chu

It depends on the track, actually. In genres like lofi and Afrobeats where bass is already emphasized, for example. Otherwise, not overwhelming at all!

I have both, and compared them using a modified CCA BTX with an AptX Adaptive USB Dongle. For more bass emphasized tracks, I prefer the Aria Snow, as the Truthear Crinacle's bass can overwhelm. Otherwise, the Truthears are great! As seen below, they graph pretty similarly after 300hz
