It would be interesting to compare the SPDIF output of some consumer electronics or from a PC motherboard. Whether such a "low quality" output (probably worse than FX audio) does not affect/affects the DAC output.

Does the rear switch not solve the dual slope?

Balanced inputs/outputs? what for? you don't even need shielded cables for this level of performance...

How are these motherboard´s digital outputs in terms of performance? are they usable for quality external DACs? did anyone measure them?

DAC: AK4621 quite decent converter (approximately at the "Focusrite scarlett" level ) Opamps: MC33079 good for this purpose, approximately at NE5532 or NJM4580 level AMP: TPA3116 probably the biggest disappointment, a discrete amplifier based on this IC would probably end up in the lower...

Volume pot on the back is actually the "sensitivity". It adjusts the volume of the input signal to 0dB. It cannot conjure a greater headroom..

Some of their monitors are also manufactured in Czech Republic.

Definitely not usable as real studio monitor :(
