You can have Solid State distortion or Tube distortion. Your Choice. Most Guitar Player prefer tube distortion (The Good ones).

USB works just fine, if you are using the X26 Pro as a DAC.... If you are using it as a Pre-Amp also, you may run into problems.

Again this noise issue must be for people that are using this DAC as a pre-amp, as I have no noise problems with any Inputs be they USB, Coax, I2S, Optical. But my DAC feeds a Tube Pre-amp (As an Audiophile should do).
