This was an Atmos track as I first noticed the right rear height channel. It sounded very bizarre to me (the mix, not the speakers).

Told you Chris Jones used to get a lot of play: Volume was low unfortunately so my impression was just "OK" Classic demo track: Same verdict.

MSB in past shows put on great demos. That didn't seem to be the case this time in my brief visit: Sounded OK.

Pleasant. This now tired track, makes many systems sound good. And did so here too. Nice details in the voices and nicely layered overall.

TAD room was noisy with folks talking and such so not a good experience: Sounded "OK."

This is the PMC's entry level bookshelf, the prophecy1 ($4,299): With every bass note, the table behind me rattled (triggered by those subs?). I mentioned this to the exhibitor and while he acknowledged it, he didn't do anything about it. :( Oh well. Reason enough to leave after this song....

I hate this room. He always comes lighting it with all those candles. The scent gives me a headache. In the past, I have sat in there but this time, couldn't handle it. Just took the picture and walked out.

They are kind of angular and my wide angle lens made them more so. Sounded OK. On my headphones is sounds better.

Don't know what to say about this display: Yes, the tubes are directional tweeters of some sort you can align. As you can tell, I could not get a seat so left.

They had two rooms. In one with above speaker, they were just talking to a crowded room. This is the one I listened to briefly: Very tired demo track: Sounded nice but flat soundstage.

They were playing the little speakers ("Biggie") with a handle. They had incredible bass!

It wouldn't be an audio show without MBL: Nice but amorphous soundstage.

These massive horns always make an impression. LP. Pops and clicks. Large center vocal (actual album in the picture): Same staging as above. Wonder if it makes everything sound grand this way or just these tracks.
