Yeah the AutoEQ on the Qudelix 5K is really bad. These are the Oratory settings for the K371: And these are the ones generated by the AutoEQ for the K371 from the Oratory measurements:

They're essentially the same: 4K is the only noteworthy difference, which stems from the fact that oratory is more conservative when correcting nulls.

What a rip off that they do not enable autoeq on 2000 pro and 3000 series. Computing power is nonsense, they just wanna sell new subwoofers.

I've found very nice EQ profiles by using AutoEq to (very inaccurately) simulate other headphones. This can give you a starting point for an EQ and you can modify the generated one to your taste. (AutoEq also has many options you can fiddle with, and even more in the command line version).

Take advantage of their upgrade. program. Very few if any that I know of offer such a value.

In practice, the autoeq version simply doesn't sound right IMO for the K371. If you match gain the two versions that 4-5db difference at 4khz makes a dramatic difference.

Naming something 'AutoEQ' might cause some confusion since there is already an AutoEq used as a source of headphone EQ profiles by several other EQ packages - especially if it's something you might want to integrate yourself later.

The presets from the AutoEQ database are not actually "from" oratory or Crinacle, they are machine-generated EQ presets based on measurements done by them. That's what AutoEQ is. The oratory preset I linked above was actually handcrafted and tweaked by oratory. He recommends his own presets...
