RE 'Go to "non-oversampling" mode and ultrasonic noise shoots through the noise, causing that off-the-charts green line. Best not to have a tweeter that attempts to go above 20 kHz!' ...and a hotter amp if it (and preamp if you're using one) has the bandwidth.

Me too. But then recently had to buy a few Boss v1.2 dacs when i needed them last year from the UK as there was no new stock since the covid shortages and none continued to be found anywhere else; and that e-tailer ran out soon after. But glad to see new stock now.

It's a relief to learn they have new stock to sell and still in operation; after more than a year id given up hope. No Boss2 Acrylic but quite surprised Katana is available to order.

Word of warning ... Microsoft already has Win 10 in their End-of-Life crosshairs. So you may want to target Win 11 now. As your Win 10 system may be in the same boat as Win 7 the day after you finish with it. ;)
