The only reason to get a solar installation is for the power. So long as your socket is providing ~120v and the needed amps - your device (pre or amp) will filter that power as designed. If you want to avoid power related noise - get a device with good SINAD as measured by a reviewer. Any work...

As a cheap bastard - the ONLY thing to complain about this thing - is the price. It's about 2x of what I'd like to see, being a bastard, and cheap. Otherwise - well done! It's a wonderful device to front your system. At this price - I would expect it to be a streaming device as well, though.

Cheapest? Used Infinity IL40s (like the 60s, less the subwoofer) or maybe Primus 360s. But I think you meant - new. So maybe the new Elac DF63? At 900 a pair the F35 is really hard to beat.
