Peng, I looked a the input assignment on the Denon. It appears it can't do what I am requesting. If you choose HDMI2 for video, you can't choose a different HDMI input for audio -- only analog or coax.

Hi Mirror, I am using the sub HDMI port and it provides multichannel dsf when I use the internal zidoo music app and even jplay for ios. However, on Roon, I can't play multichannel dsf. Everything is downmixed to 2 channel. Don't even see option for 5.0 or 5.1 channel mapping.

I have a zidoo UHD8000 and it is clearly a work in progress. It has the potential to be very good, but its Roon implementation thus far (in the latest beta) is faulty; no multichannel dsf support (everything is downmixed to 2 channels), despite it says its Roon Ready.

I returned mine (bought from amazon) and it constantly stopped connecting to the internet. Tried resetting network to factory settings and latest firmware upgrade, but no good. Went back to my X4800H. Looking for a new receiver, but not sure what to buy at this point.

Are there any issues with US customs if you purchase one of these. Does Okto handle this or do you have to deal with US customs.
