Correction. Should have said LAST year lol. At the time, they were discounted from the normal $3299 each, $6598 a pair. Even now, a search on USA Amazon (which isn't where I aquired them) show the least expensive pair as $3958. I agree 1300 Euros for two is an outstanding price...

I picked up a pair of the 936 K2s new ealier this year for $3,727.45 and love them.

IMO, like many of these small tube amps, at that price point it is a fun looking, cool desk toy for the office. Fidelity doesn't really matter for that.
