With the apple dongle on an android phone you only get 0.5V and it's not enough, works fine on iphone apparently. There are some tricks you can try to get it to work at full power but none worked for me on my Samsung S23+

So I've got the Meizu pro dongle and the the zero 1's. Blown away using spotify. Do I need to switch to a hi-res service like Tidal to get the most from them?

Mine seemed to get a lot hotter when connected with Bluetooth. When just using RCA it seems fine.

It does run hotter than I'd hoped. Switched on but not playing it gets pretty warm, which makes me wonder what the idle power usage is. My S.M.S.L SA300 doesn't get warm and I'm happy leaving it on 24/7, I wonder if the Infineon MA12070 just runs cooler.
