Those are a pair of Neutrik NP3X-B terminated TRS cables. They fit, with out a ton of room, but with out a fight.

When I press and hold the power button, mine also displays DFU (which I imagine means Device Firmware Upgrade). I can safely yank the power and it boots back up normally.

For what it's worth, I have a pair of Bel Canto REF500M amps that have been on 24/7 for 9 years, give or take. I also have a pair of self-built ICEPower 125asx2 amps that have been on 24/7 for around 7 years. They've never once given me an ounce of trouble.

After a long long wait, my D50 III arrived. Connected to a Lenovo Tiny PC over USB as the source, into a pair of ICEPower 125asx2 boards in a GhentAudio case. I might need to upgrade the amp now that my signal is far far cleaner ....

I did a cursory search and didn't find much information. Given that they have warnings about bricking your device by flashing the wrong firmware, I'm very hesitant to experiment on my just-shipped device.

How is the firmware upgrade performed for the D50 III ? I took a quick look through the documentation and if it's described in that PDF, I missed it.
