What does that do to impulse and step response? John Dunlavy used only 1st-order crossovers because 2nd-order and higher store energy and make the impulse and step response look like garbage.

Not so easy to do in the analog domain, especially 25 - 30 years ago when the DAL speakers were released to the world.

It'll be interesting to see if they got the impulse and step response as perfect as JD did with his designs; step response and impulse response were everything to him.
