From technical point of view I expect nothing less from Apple. They certainly have some of the best engineers and it is good to see that they are allowed to deliver.

Amir, I'm with you. There are cases where it is necessary. But IMO it should not be common practice to simply put everything public without any significant reason. It also depends on local law. Lack of optimal positions. There are only two places where I could tolerate them visually but I already know these are quite bad in terms of sound. Furthermore, neighbors and WAF. ;)

Finally, I bought this IEM just out of curiosity and because some guys told me I don't know distortion-free bass on my Beyerdynamic D880 Pro. Honestly, the bass these IEMs can deliver is impressive as is overall sound quality (especially for price). Nevertheless, I still think my Beyerdynamics...

Grimm LS1be I‘ve heard them at Munich High End. It was a revelation! Nothing I‘ve experienced during these two days came even close! I guess best way to describe it is to refer to Amir‘s DCA Stealth review, listening part.

Isn't if kind of "normal" that a recording doesn't sound like live? I mean, what do you expect coming out from two speakers? Stereo recording and also playback are limited. If you want more maybe wave field synthesis is something for you? ;) Besides that I don't think most people...

I can only say that I once owned a speaker with impedance below 2 Ohm over most of the frequency range (with 98 dB sensitivity, though). Setup was driven by a Bryston B60 for over 15 years (2x 60 Watts - speaker was able to handle much more power). Never had an issue. Only one thermal shutdown...
