Correct. It is a 78 SC which I replaced the 3.0 with a rebuilt 3.2 from an '86 with some minor reliability improvements. Ruf used to make a 3.2 version of the 3.0 CIS engine called the SC-R. After visiting with Ruf to test (and help some friends purchase various Ruf VIN cars) we got the idea...

    Hum from a toroidal transformer

I grew up in an island on the Caribbean; as a matter of practice, my father would open up amps and other components before plugging them in to check for stuff that was either lose or out of place (handling or deficient assembly). In my case, before I recommissioned my large Thresholds and my...

Very big room (5m by 20m). What speakers and position?

NO to multiple speakers except for background music/noise. You will have timing and echo issues. I have 4x 16 channel amps running as many Mission in ceiling 8" speakers for background but for listening, a dedicated pair (2 actually in 2 physically separated rooms).

    Infinity Modulus - Any good?

Diaphragms are available! My IRS Beta are 37 years old and still have the original diaphragms with no issues. I am experimenting with new custom diaphragms to see if there is any improvement after all those decades.

What speakers do you currently own?

Love the Epsilon! My main speakers are Beta. Fully restored late last year. Soon to be modified to a modern rendition of the EMIM (incoming!) and modern rendition of the LEMIM in development. All my drivers are perfect but I wanted to try and see what can be achieved 20 years later.

What speakers do you currently own?

That explains it! Great you found it. One of my brother (and also my neighbor) have ML's and they sound great. They have them in totally different settings, my brother in a dedicated room where they are 3 feet from side walls and 4 from front wall; great sound but a bit shy on the bass but...

Any Auto racers or track-day members onboard?

Nope :( but those were great races. I was thinking of the PCA CR you mentioned. Back to WC; the first years with the smaller Acuras giving hell (with Pierre K driving) and Peter K on his RSR duking it out with Turner on the BM. Awesome racing.
