I do think it’s a great choice for a speaker attribute. Whether or not it is measurable I don’t know. But I recognize it when I hear it.

I wonder how practical would it be to convert passive speakers into active? Class D amps are readily available in various sizes. The digital equalization and crossover would be tricky tho.

Active speakers with rechargeable Lithium batteries would solve the power cable problem. The active speakers could come with speaker stands that have the Lithium batteries built into the base.
