I really like the look (and measurements) of these. Unfortunately the grey sample seems non available in the UK. Matte finishes can be prone to even the slightest marks and white can discolour with time.

Its not just sensitivity but load difficulty. You need a good, load tolerant amplifier. If this one is anything like the C6B's measured by Erin, they go below 2ohms.

As just mentioned in another thread, got an SL100C. Lovely. Can't see how you can go wrong with the brand.

Not sure where to put this but are there measurements on vibrations regarding using clamps, weights and different platter mats? I don't know how you would accurately measure vibrations/resonance on the actual record whilst spinning to assess if clamps/weights make a difference and if so, what...

Without going through 85 pages, what is the conclusion here and what are the best measuring and still available new cartridges under £300 for a Technics SL100C (same as 1500C)? I also assume that sample variations are probably a very real factor as most are hand assembled/wound. Thanks

I would agree with you but for some reason that seems to be the best speaker placement option, perhaps due to where I sit. I have not tried REW unfortunately.
