Aside from further exposing general sloppiness of this product / BlueSound's software, I think these tests have been invaluable in shedding some light on avenues of enquiry which would be useful for Amir to further explore.

Tbh most it is much better than expected, but if you intend to use tone controls, then that seems to be a major dealbreaker.

I think the A6 ME Gen 2 in silver is by far their best looking looking DAC-streamer. Is there any word on room correction being added? Or is that remaining exclusive to the A8 and A10?

A8 numbers look wildly off ... so I'm not sure about the rest of them.

Well, all the issues here, elsewhere and the shop that told me it had been delayed due to QC issues saying they're not ordering more at this point due to issues they'd had with the initial batch has been enough to put me off. That and virtually all the 'positive' stuff in this and other forums...

Still looking for a solution. Another option (used). Classé CAP 2100. These seem to have an amazing reputation, but I've been unable to find any measurements. Does anyone have experience with them?

I checked their post history. I'd suggest waiting for others to give impressions on the Icon, or better - measurements.

Are you using their in-built analogue pre-amps or bypassing them? That's where differences would be detectable.

Can we just leave it at: Any benefits are unclear and haven't been proved. Everyone advocating it seems to have affiliation with LenBrook or their products, or only posts about them. -------- Back to whether the Icon may be good or not - certainly the spec is good.

Absolutely not, unless sub connections are worth €1500 extra to you. Subjective, but it's also way uglier. Mess of different design cues. Still haven't seen any useful examination of the room correction in A10 (or now A8), is it remotely comparable to Dirac or Lyngdorf?

They most likely have a promotional agreement. All BluOS devices support Qobuz AFAIK.
