    SMSL PA-X Stereo Amplifier Review

Why oh why they still use the PGA2311...have yet to hear a good sounding implementation. SOTA GaN output stage and old single chip volume control...bummer. Lack of option to vote questions the credibility of the review in general in my opinion. Condidering it broke already during testing, it...

    Behringer EP2500 Stereo Amplifier Review

Well, the EP is a cheap power brute with linear PSU and it does what it says, they are good on subs and dirt cheap used. The long wiring probably kills the distortion values. Behringer likes making cheaper clones of more expensive brands and the EP kinda reminds me of QSC RMX (850) inside.

Fosi Audio Box X5 Phono Preamp Review

If it only had MC and MM capacity/loading settings... Otherwise this looks like a great and muuuch cheaper alternative to Lehmann Audio phono's (Cambridge / NAD I don't mention because that's garbage tier build quality).

    Eversolo DMP-A6 Streamer Review

How can I set a hard limit of 16/44.1 on the S/PDIF output? I have an A8 but the settings should be the same, though I can only select max sample rate of 96 or 192KHz.

Eversolo DMP-10, new release 25 october

Any idea on availability? Seems like a paper launch, nothing more.

Eversolo DMP-10, new release 25 october

The pricing is a grim joke, 4000 euros in Europe. Might as well buy a Gustard X30 and DMP-A6 and have money over for cables and SSD drive.

    Outlaw 2200 M-Block Amplifier Review

Exactly, all NADs are built to fail. Good more people start to notice it. The x70 are the most stupid modes with class A modules packed in a box with tiny cheap electrolytics inside.

Leckerton Audio UHA-6S.MKII Portable DAC & Amp Review

Should've been mentioned in the original post that it's a legacy model imho.

Leckerton Audio UHA-6S.MKII Portable DAC & Amp Review

Looks like an old model with micro USB, no?

    Topping B100 Amplifier Review

The problem is that NFB destroys the sound, hence why the THX AAA Benchmark AHB2 and the likes sound dead and closed in, a cold sterile tool with no enjoyment.

    Hifiman Edition XS

It's €309 in the Netherlands but myself, after having 3 Hifiman headphones wouldn't toch them with a 10 foot pole. All of them had a bitey, hot treble and the build quality is abysmal in the long run - plastic wears out, breaks, the mylar foil crinkles and wil eventually develop a crack, already...

    NAD C 316BEE V2 Integrated Amplifier Review

YMMV, mine was the exact opposite - dead after warranty. CD players were by far the worst, I stopped at the BEE series.

    NAD C 316BEE V2 Integrated Amplifier Review

This is another reminder as why no one should buy NAD products. All planned obsolescence with placing C-tier capacitors next to hot heatsinks (knowing NAD there will be at least a few real hotspots on the PCB) and they are either stupid or just don't care and still drop a lot of voltage over...

    D-Sonic M3a-600M Class-D Amplifier Review

Barely usable for sub duty, dominant 3rd harmonic so likely hard/harsh sound.

    Eversolo DMP-A8 Balanced Streamer/DAC Review

Also mind you - the Eversolo has a built in M.2 slot for NVMe drives, I run a 4TB Lexar in mine and it can run as a NAS within the network. I haven't checked the A8 but the A6 was slow as molases for copying large files, I think it has a built in NVMe to USB3.0 bridge or something similar...

    Eversolo DMP-A8 Balanced Streamer/DAC Review

As expected, I started with the A6 and now upgraded to the A8 for analog volume control - it does everything you'd expect. Regarding the analog volume control measurements, isn't it just a passive stepped attenuator, hence such good results? Otherwise it looks even better, if it's an active stage.

dCS threatens with a 7-figure lawsuit over a review

I think you're grossly overestimating the impact of ASR, it's actually minimal in the hi-end world. In fact, it won't even make a dent in dCS's reputation because it's a different customer base altogether.

Lundahl Sound VC2361 6-Channel Volume Control Review

Over 1 grand for a passive attenuator? Only if it is fitted with Lundahl transofrmers...is it the same company by the way?
