Makes complete sense for Schiit to improve an existing design. It would be hard to compete with the likes of Hypex, ICE or other Class D products in the various cases from Audiophonics, Boxem etc. Schiit has an A/B amp at the same price so there is something to choose.

I can live with the slight thumb noise. If gets worse I'll get in touch with the shop I bought it from. For now still very satisfied with the amp.

When the power switch is operated there is a faint thumb noise from the right speaker. I do not disconnect the amplifier from the power block. I do not operate a power switch on the power block.
