For me after like 15h listening that feels like something I can second. The biggest difference vs the WiiM amp it replaced for me is that low listening volumes are definitely better and (maybe not surprisingly) likely thanks to the higher power output it holds up better at really high volumes...

That's of course the main reason the volume knob was kept on the A7 mono as well.

I agree, the only thing I can think of is economies of scale as you use the exact same enclosure for all of the A-models.
