Cannot get Dirac Live to work. Cannot understand why

background -70? I mean SPL background

Cannot get Dirac Live to work. Cannot understand why

Also what is you background noise level?

Cannot get Dirac Live to work. Cannot understand why

Do you also have an other way to verify your SPL form the U-MIK is correct? I had once dropped it and some internal dip switches made the level incorrect.

With what SPL level (at the listening position) where you measuring?

    multitone spectrum proposal

Ok, so the end conclusion is now: the 5 watt is done with the combined rms signal of 4.47 Vrms into 5watt. This means that the individual tones are at lower level ( the 0.79 Vrms mentioned earlier). THIS is the 0dB level in the plot. So this is (0.79^2/4ohm) = 0.123 watt for a single tone. All...

RMS would be most fair I would say.

    multitone spectrum proposal

The actual combined level of the multi tone should be the reference level in this case I would say..

    multitone spectrum proposal

Yes, the peaks are at a different level, may be better to leave them at (I assume) -13dB or explain with what level they are shifted?

What are the theoretical limits to amplifier efficiency?

The argument of the output impedance being almost zero does not hold here as its virtually created by the feedback loop. The current to/from the amp goes through much higher resistance than its output impedance.

What are the theoretical limits to amplifier efficiency?

A speaker also induces current back into the amp when it wants to move in an other direction than the voltage tells him to do. This needs to be dissipated by the amp.

    multitone spectrum proposal

About that 'peak': A 32 multi tone has a peak to average ratio of around 13dB. This means these peaks at 0 dB are not really 0 dB. So then my next question: Why are multi tone plots not shifted to the right level? The noise floor is now also displayed at the wrong level? Maybe @amirm can answer...
