Could you elaborate what did you find better about the IN-5? What was the amplification for R3?

Does it matter SQ-wise if those speakers are connected through XLR or RCA? I use RME ADI-2/Matrix Quattro DAC to drive them and don't have any XLR cables atm.

You could leave them turned on in the back and use smart plug to remotely turn them on and off.

It is a large reflecting surface next to the left speaker that changes the way waves bounce when open, and it being full of soft clothes probably provides some dampening and the measurements show the difference :) probably close to inaudible.

Is it known what is going to be the retail price for V3 Mono with separate 48V/5A PS? I'm within return window for dual ZA3 which I find amazing and thinking about going for V3 mono instead.
