I'm sorry to hear you are having these problems. My C658 is working as usual. The remote works as good as it always has, and the unit wakes up via LAN also. It's hard to guess what could have gone wrong with your unit.

There are more factors to this. First of all the 130W and 260W numbers are very conservative, taken at very low distortion figures. If you allow the amps to reach the industry "standard" of 1% distortion, the amps are producing well above 200W and 400W. And that would mean 300Watts at 6 Ohms...

My Anthem MRX 300, has its power transistors mounted on a tunnel heatsink :) As did the whole X00 series. Later models do seem to have a more conventional heatsink.
