I would not expect the ARC input to support eARC as this price point. Another miss is no LDAC support, only Apt/x HD. The display and form feature of the ZD3 is very appealing, totally agree it blows most SMSL displays at same price completely away.
I've run my V3 Stereo amp with the 36V Aiyima power supply, it's only 24 watts less than the 48V specs (240w vs 216w) and the V3 gets mildly warm after several hours of use.
Have used this amp now for 1 month heavily, very much like the sound/performance and have it dialed in with Polk R200 & JBL 550P sub. Excellent choice for TPA3255 amp with a remote and tone control. Running great on the 36V6A.
Radio Paradise in Flac -- It's free (supported by donation). Very eclectic mix of folk, jazz, rock, global. When you rate songs it starts creating your own "My Favorites" mix you can play anytime. Cool folks that run it, been around a loooong time.
I did not look close enough to see they took ARC input away - I just noticed upgraded DAC, & I bought the PS100 for $30 -- Lose/Lose right there:facepalm:
Aiyima Decoder Amplifier arrived today -> 9 days direct shipped from Aiyima, but was in Texas for 3 days idle so not bad and no tax. Looks incredibly nice....
SMSL just put a really nice looking and easy to read 1.9" LCD screen with white & amber on the B2 unit it sells for $80.
I would think adding a decent screen like that would be pretty do-able and doesn't add much cost.
This is quite interesting as Aiyima on their website front page has a time line of some of their products. They list the A08 Max with a June launch (6/2024) - did I miss something?
I ordered a O-Noorus thru Amazon about 6 months ago. The order was delayed twice and ship date moved, finally Amazon just cancelled the order saying "Not Available" and I basically punted on anything O-Noorus - but the D1 intrigued me, no doubt.
If your Samsung tablet is newer the LDAC transmit will look for an LDAC receiver which would show up & connect under the Bluetooth Tab in settings. If older tablet (or Android version) then you can access LDAC thru Developer options in system settings.
