It's confusing for sure, I thought the phono preamps with dip switches was overkill, until I got the Cambridge, now I'm wishing I had some kind of control over gains and what not. :(

Preamp is great. I think the VM540ML cartridge is great as well. My cables were overlapping each other (tangled mess) the stock RCA cable connectors aren't as taught as I'd like, and the ground was a little loose.

Kinda wishing I just saved up for the Waxwing. Because the Duo does pick up EVERYTHING... including any imperfections like clicks and pops. Quiet record is a quiet experience though. (And it's way cleaner output, compared to the preamp of the Ultra and what's in the turntable) I too am getting...

At one point the volume icon would swing from right to left upside down off the screen of the Wiim, there the swings were wide per push, don't remember which update it was but the obvious is it now is upright swinging left to right with a tighter swing. Currently enjoying my jazz playlist...

Found me an old DAC, almost forgot I had it. USB connected... Works!

Play with the vrms, I dropped mine back down to 1 and the sub was significantly louder after that. Not sure which one I like...might up it back to 2

And try a higher crossover frequency...like 150

Have a MOGAMI Coaxial on my list for when I pick this baby up.

I had this going on for couple weeks. Until I increased my vrms back to 2, now I have volume and crossover maxed out on Sub and it's been working great. Sub placement might help too. Maybe move it away from the wall closer to center.
