Unknown, no version info from SMSL (@SMSL: Is it so hard to provide basic dev information? OMG). They changed the PDF of the manual but nobody can confirm that this is related to the firmware update (for example without new measurements).

We would need new measurements to be sure that anything has changed and not only the PDF of the manual. I don't have the time at the moment to perform new measurements and more importantly my two DL200s work perfectly fine and I have no intention to update the firmware.

Sorry, I don't want to fight with you but from what I can see there are no new real measurements of the DL200 with the new firmware 1.3. So we still don't know. It's only an assumption from your side because of the changed manual.

How could you know that? The pdf was wrong before. This is your assumption based on a change of the pdf? Is there any evidence that the firmware 1.3 actually changes anything regarding the filter settings/order?

As I explained, it has nothing to do with the firmware. It is an internal synchronization for the firmware flashing procedure. There is no change log whatsoever.

This message is caused by the adjustment of the frequency of the serial interface controller of the MCU (Micro Controller Unit) and has nothing to do with the firmware itself. This frequency adjustment/check of the serial controller is necessary to transmit the firmware correctly.

Have you experienced sync-problems? My point: The firmware development of these Chinese manufacturers has not been very reliable. I would apply a firmware update only if I absolutely have to and if it is solving a problem I am having.

What problems should the new firmware fix? Do you have any problems with your DL200 and the factory firmware? Or just update because it seems to be newer?

I have no idea about the usb 1.1 problem. It should keep the last setting. But regarding the display: If you press the FN button on the remote for a few seconds you can turn ON/OFF the auto-display-off feature.

When I disconnected the DL200, only the USB cable was connected to the ADI-2 PRO, nothing else and of course power. I could check this with my workstation. Today I just used a MiniPC, which is normally used for SW testing. I will have to find the time.
