NAD M66 - finally someone makes a decent 2-channel preamp!

I sold my M66: all of a sudden interest picked up and it went quickly: the new owner loves it: says the sound quality is excellent and he is very pleased Good luck to all….

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

^ I use Zone 2 from AVM90 to a Parasound Halo amp for outdoor use: I recall hooking a NAD M50.1 via optical with no output from zone 2…. I added a DAC and fed analog I would have to check this ….

Don't install the new Sonos App update

Sonos had everything: they had great products, great reputation, great management, and success: and they managed to nearly ruin it by one bad firmware release….

    Anthem AVM70 Review (AV Processor)

In my HT, I cannot see the AVM front panel display: I depend on the OSD to see volume levels/audio codec settings, etc

    Anthem AVM70 Review (AV Processor)

There is a cult like following of the HTP-1, but an HTP-2 is unlikely IMO. Consider the HTP-1 does not have an OSD (on screen display) which many of us deem essential….. Happy New Year! (I am a happy AVM90 owner)

new Revox B77 MKIII tape machine

I had a Revox HS77 for many years and loved it, but the quality of the tape back then was all over the place: some tape had a lot more background hiss than others: some caused a lot more head wear….. I wonder if the tape you can buy today is any better?

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

^ The AVM 70/90 has audio level adjustments on each input….

NAD M66 - finally someone makes a decent 2-channel preamp!

^^ Good luck with the Storm Audio unit: that is a serious piece of gear

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

I would like to see Anthem introduce an AVM 100 without all the bells and whistles: call it an ‘Audiophile version’ It should be fully balanced. They should leave out Bluetooth, all streaming features, give up on ‘ROON coming soon’ (it is not), the headphone output, zone 2, and such: just a high...

NAD M66 - finally someone makes a decent 2-channel preamp!

I have been comparing the HiFi Rose RS150B against the M66: I would look at that too (bought the Rose as open box at a really good price)

NAD M66 - finally someone makes a decent 2-channel preamp!

I keep telling myself I must stop being an early adopter/unintended beta tester…..until the next great toy is introduced….

    No more screwed in drivers

Having replaced several Focal Be tweeters, I appreciate the importance of such hardware Now if they could make speaker drivers that are blow out proof, I would not miss the screws….

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

Same here when I paid ISF experts to come to my HT to calibrate my displays: I was disappointed and realized my wife has a better eye for correct display settings…..

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

My point is the tweaks are important: not just for ARC G: some RC systems require/ recommend a pro to come to your HT to run the program…and apply some tuning/tweaks as may be desirable…many of us do not have that luxury, and do not know how good their system could sound…..I think most any RC...

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

I also had experience with REW and Mini DSP system which I added to a Krell Foundation 4K processor (my favorite processor but I did not like Krell RC). Due to an error on my part, while setting up the Mini DSP, I managed to blow both Focal Be tweeters: that is when I realized you need a single...

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

I tried Dirac several years ago on a NAD processor….also used Audyssey and Krell room correction for several years. For me, ARC is easy to run and gives the best results in my 5.2 system. What really makes ARC so effective is help from an expert: many of us send our files to David (he is on...

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

What I like best about the Anthem, in no particular order: -virtual input selection/naming -large front panel display -ARC room correction

    Anthem AVM90 AV Processor Review

Regarding build quality, the Marantz AV10 wins hands down: it s built like a tank: and has no fan But after testing both in my HT, I kept the Anthem AVM90
