I am playing with the delay timer (between video and audio) to see if that does anything, otherwise, I've tried everything. More a slight nuisance than anything, but I am still curious what's causing it.

I don't know. I don't think it is a refrigerator problem; it's an "old house spliced circuitry" problem, and I am too loathe to get an electrician in to run a new circuit, so I will likely go hunting for a small, affordable UPS solution to plug my monitor and speakers into.

UPDATE: The WiiM Ultra and the Neumann KH 120 II have arrived and sound sublime. A subwoofer is relegated to a luxury item, and not critical, as the KH 120 IIs get low and loud enough for my current needs. The only place they miss out on sub 40Hz frequencies is when listening to jungle/drum...

@markstein - is it imperative that I lift the speakers for power cord clearance, or could I get away with pads or pucks without worrying about bending/kinking the power cord? I know that the KH120s have a weird placement for electrical leads.

At this early stage, I don't foresee a difficulty straddling the line between both. I'm binaural. There's also a joke in here about aural sex, but I'm too tired to figure it out.

Yeah, that's a hard "no". I have a disproportionate level of fear and anxiety with putting holes in the wall, as I loathe patch and paint jobs if my orientation of equipment and furniture changes.

Are you specifically using the ISO 130? The measurements of the monitors are 18.2cm x 22.7cm, but the 'support surface' area of the 130 is only 13cm x 15cm. Is the ISO 155 a better fit (15.5cm x 19cm)? I don't know if it matters or not.
