    Marantz AV10 AV Processor Review

I used to be all Marantz; had the MM7055 also but I changed that to a Hypex NC502 amp. Can't say I can hear the difference but I love the extra power and cooler amp.

    Marantz AV10 AV Processor Review

People buying a $7,000 processor are concerned about this? I mean, I guess.

    Marantz AV10 AV Processor Review

I don't own the AV10 (used to owner the AV8802A though). But why would anyone invest $200 in an Audyssey app instead of getting Dirac?

Lyngdorf MP-40 2.1 AV Processor Review

Nothing to be upset about, the unit can pass-through up to 4K@120Hz 4:4:4 RGB 10 bit w/HDR at 40Gbps. 99.9% Most of the content only goes up to 10 bit anyway, the 48Gbps is only needed for 12 bit 4:4:4 rgb 4k 120 hz.

KEF R11 Meta Tower Speaker Review

If you're using a home cinema, you really want the Meta center. I think that R11s will be great in your setup.

KEF R11 Meta Tower Speaker Review

I had the R11s and moved to the Reference 5. The Reference 5s are as close as I can imagine to the old Reference Fours I had in the past. Not sure if the Reference 3s have so much 'less' bass but the Reference Series 6.5" LF drivers + cabinet + crossovers are a league above the R series. To OP...

    KEF Q Meta is Coming

I am happy you're enjoying them! I have the Reference 5s in a similar config. The Q11s would have been perfectly fine also.

    Kef R Meta Series Release

If you have a system that does room correction (room EQ) there's no need to plug any ports. Without it, maybe. But then it's easy to experiment with or without it.

    Kef R Meta Series Release

Reference 5s, here you go. No plugs (long and short ports)

    Kef R Meta Series Release

I have my Reference 1s (side surround) this close to the wall, and feel zero need to plug them. My 2 cents.

    Kef R Meta Series Release

^ exactly And I don't understand why you need to plug those ports anyway

    Kef R Meta Series Release

I'm very interesting in the difference. I compared the R11s to the Reference 5s, and there's a major difference (worth the premium? That's another conversation). I prefer my non-Meta Reference 1 (side) surrounds over the R3 Meta I had before. Obviously, the Reference build is much, much better...

    Kef R Meta Series Release

I have my Reference 1s as flush to the wall as possible for my side surrounds. Didn't plug the bass port (using long plugs). No issues. I think the R3s will be more than fine.

    KEF R3 meta Measurements

Put some soft (maybe a kitchen towel?) against the wood, and use a small screwdriver in that case. It will pop right out.

    KEF R3 meta Measurements

It's very simple. Use a pry tool on the outside. Gently insert the tool between the speaker cabinet and the plastic ring and pop it out.

More power for KEF reference 5?

No specific experience with my floor speakers and the NCore modules, but you can definitely run any height speakers with the NC252/502. I'm still not "there" to use Class D on my Reference 5 (not that I need a new amplifier anyway; would stick with your JC1s personally).
