Agree with these comments ... the only other thing I'd add is the Mini can't play multiroom at high resolution so depends if someone's using it as a one off or wants it for multiroom use. The DAC should be pretty decent, what are you feeding into it .... does that have a trigger out?? Why'd did you get rid of the AO 200 or did it blow, I have one running as my desktop amp in my study.

Not sure what you're feeding into it but I bought the correct lead and used the trigger in from a WiiM streamer so it would automatically switch on / go into standby when I stopped using the WiiM.

I'm sure if they're going into teh same DAC you're right ... I was shocked though at the difference between the Pro using my amp's DAC and the Pro Plus using it's own DAC ... the biggest difference was the width of soundstage which as my speakers are further apart than ideal didn't really work.

That's for the Pro Plu not the Pro ... I do have a Pro Plus as well and tried that but didn't like it as much as my Pro using the Amp's DAC Honest answer I'm not sure .... I've just seen and heard comments that the clock on a budget streamer isn't good to be a good / accurate as teh clock on...

The only reason I changed, I use Amazon Music and play quite a bit of multiroom which it wouldn't do at high res but if it wasn't that it's a hell of a bit of kit for very little money.

I think I was the unlucky one and had problems with 2 x Yamaha AVR's quite a few years back and it put me off buying anything else from them, they were both more "budget" end and considerably cheaper than the competition and I thought maybe that was why.
