I have the Wiim Ultra hooked up to a SMSL Raw Dac1 using a SMSL PO100 Pro and I can't explain scientifically how and why but this combo sounds really nice. Not sure if it is imagination but using the PO100 Pro into the SMSL Raw sound better then going USB straight from the Ultra to the SMSL Raw.

I have the EXACT same problem with my Raw Dac 1!!! I just got a new Silent Angel M1T yesterday and tried like hell to get it to work but still just noise and crackling sound. I will test this evening to set my streamer to either PCM only or upsampling to DSD
