I still have the Elemental Designs eQ.2 driving my (sadly mono) subs, but this little box has served me well over 10 years or so and I am still sad the company went under.

There is a good documentary out there about that competition and I'd have to find it, to be sure, as I recall Boeing had the better plane at that time but the Lockheed was chosen less on merit than looks. I will see if I can find a link, it was in depth through all the stages at both companies...

I don't think one would, nor should, post to get likes. I am new here, and so far I have observed that the community takes care of the likes, no pun intended - rather well. It's not social media, and it is nice to see people put work into their posts and provide valuable insights - which are...

After finally tracking down an OEM Stylus for my recently acquired Signet TKN7LCa, I can report that there is not much audible difference between it and my Benz Micro MC cartridges. I am sure the Beryllium cantilever helps. And I can get it re-tipped at some point. I will have to mount it on...

My Grandparents had those, and much to my dismay I could never get my hands on them. On the upside it started me on the road to owning many speakers, and building quite a few, too. Thanks for these pictures, brings back memories.

Everybody needs one of those, I have one myself. Also the Yamaha M-4, the Yamaha M-2 - which is the same topology but the consumer version. I ran a P-2200 with Altec 19's for some years. I have accumulated 5 M-4's over time, plus one in parts if I should ever need any.
