Michael, I just want to say thank you for how much I’ve learned from your posts here. I finally figured it out, I believe. I just had to leave the output device as the adc/adc in the PCP interface. Then in camilladsp I left input as “stdin” and the output to the M4. Hopefully my struggles help...

I've installed CamillaDSP and the waveinput. Works great in LMS. However, I have to change the PCP squeezelite settings from USB to DAC/ADC pro then back again. Then this is listed: It works until I reboot the picoreplayer and then I have to repeat the process in the picoreplayer interface...

So I finally have Camilladsp up and running thanks to this thread and this script. Amazing how well it’s working. Seems to be switching sample rates ok, but how would I go about automatically applying a different FIR filter to each sample rate as it switches? I’m new/clueless about anything...

Thanks! I’d prefer to keep my current tt. Pretty high end, kp-990. I’ve reached the point where I think my vinyl playback is maxed out on cost to benefit. Just wanna get it through the eq like the digital source. The difference is huge with eq!

Update on mine. I’ll be returning it to Amazon. Seems to have connectivity issues that my pi almost never has, buzzing (coil whine?), and radio paradise integration is less than optimal, which is one of our primary sources at home. Still randomly gets warm while sleep mode but that seems to be...

Mine is obnoxious and I can hear it from across the room. It is also very warm when it is supposed to be in standby; it’s obviously wasting a lot of power. How is that acceptable?

I would but can’t ruin my warranty. If they send a new one without requesting a return then I’ll open it up.

Heat and buzzing noises in standby is a faulty design. Messing around with power receptacles to try and fix it is missing the point. WiiM replied to me that they agree it sounds faulty.

I did and they said it sounds like my device is faulty. Indicated they would send a replacement.

Update. Amp has a sort of humming noise. Not through the speakers. And it’s always warm even when in standby. Will reach out to WiiM and update here how it progresses.

Max volume nothing playing I don’t hear any hiss from the speakers even closer than one foot.

Hooked up the amp last night. Only briefly used it but it sounded good, peq seemed to work well, and no static or other major problems. Hooked to Kef R7 it drove them pretty loud in a relatively large space with high ceilings.

Just FYI, my wiim amp will apparently arrive tomorrow. I’m in the USA.
