Thank for the clarification. I would have it connected straight to my PC via the USB as I only use it for Headphones on my PC.

Darn, I just ordered a Midgard and my plan was to eventually pair it with the Modius, but I really don't want to deal with this USB mess they have. I'll just connect it balanced to my MOTU M2.

Can anyone see any real downsides to using the Midgard with the MOTU M2 DAC? Would upgrading from a Topping L30II be worth it if I have Sundara's and planning on getting the Edition XS?

Wish I could say the same. I emailed them yesterday morning and still haven't heard a peep. I have a really bad buzzing on the left channel, it happened a couple times before but power cycling resolved the issue. Not this time. Seems like my Heresy is toast. Tested the headphones straight...
