I'm looking to replace my NAD C658 (which is currently my streamer and preamp). I'm tempted by the DMP-A8. Is it the best choice for under $10k or would a dedicated streamer + separate preamp be better? Perhaps with the Wiim ultra for streaming?

This looks amazing for the price. I appreciate the suggestion. My amp only takes in XLR inputs but the Wiim only outputs phono. If I use a phono to XLR cable would it reduce the sound quality? It would be a very short run of 10-20cm or so.
