I was lucky enough to see the linked video about the radiant acoustics before it got randomly deleted. As I'm looking for every information to this speaker, I'm thankful it was posted, otherwise wouldn't have found it.
Many switching power supplies (wallwarts) - in fact all I have - introduce noise and/or make noise. That´s really driving me nuts and maybe a lps would help...
As far as I know they already added these weights into their WIIM Pro+ compared to the non +, which I find quite useful. The regular pro is quite easy to move - there are people out there using door stoppers on top of the device.
Then my interpretation of that summary is wrong? https://audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/rca-cable-magnetic-interference-measurement-and-comparison.27937/post-970936
Interesting thread. When ferrits make a difference I find it strange, that it is not a standard for every cable, as It's that cheap.
So would you recommend to add ferrits at every power cable and analog signal cable at both ends when there is noise and hum?
Stereo effect is for me the phantom image - but yes, lets split hairs, loose in some theoretical discussion. I've made practical experience with my setup, so no need to tell me from your desktop that it's bullshit and doesn't work.
As my crossover to the subs (I use 4) is very high (140hz) I made listening tests for myself If this would let to some negative effects in stereo imaging. I came to the conclusion, that the stereo effect also works with mono subs - I simply turned of the amplifier driving the speakers and only...
As others said, it works like that. Mine is for sale, but unfortunately you are US-based :D
The question is, if you really need the X2 when you have the Ultra and its Room EQ and Bass Management capabilities.
It´s mentioned for the LSX II as well (in the manual). Funnily enough I´ve set the volume of my LSX always at fixed level 70 in the past because I noticed the increasing noise after that level. So it corresponds to my experience - I just have to turn it up to 71 :D
I made the same, wrong, assumption.
