Have we seen multiple Buckeye Amp owners with issues? I have a Buckeye Purifi amp and Icon without issue at all, its playing wonderfully right here now, also have a Buckeye HypeX with a N132, also no issues. I'm just aware that Buckeye is a small business, where these sort of comments can hurt...

Pardon my ignorance, but is there a reason why not all Icons have this issue? Mine doesn't have an issue, trying to figure out if it's something that I have inadvertently avoided in my setup somehow.

My first Icon had a dead screen, but it was dead from the get go. Crutchfield were good about getting a replacement out immediately though. Haven't had any further issues with the replacements, thus far, as others have stated also, I love the sound coming from it, especially so once Dirac'd...

Yea I am really liking it. Only minor gripe is not being able to set an output (xlr/rca/headphones) as a preset, so I have to plug/unplug the headphones etc

Well, I tried plugging in the headphones and in took a look at the BluOS filter settings, it says the filters are still on. If I switch between the Dirac presets and also turning them off, there is definitely a sound difference, so I think they are active

I lowered the mids a little

For sure... Harman-6dB & Harman-8dB. I'm using the 8dB with some tweaks to lower the mids a little...

I don't believe they are, it wouldn't make sense I don't think as you are measuring speaker response with Dirac, not the headphones. However if you use Roon, you can easily eq headphones via Muse

I made some tweaks, got to a point where I was happy, I also had reached out to Dirac who were very quick to respond and even offered a couple of target curves based on my Dirac project. Fantastic. On my old SMSL I got pretty bad distortion if I pushed up the volume much, non of that now. Speakers (LS50 Metas) sound like they have more body to me now, probably getting all the power they need now

Ok, I think I got the sound more to my liking. I find the Dirac measurements to result in far more detailed music, which is nice. I just think I needed to dial back the mids a bit more, still detailed but a bit more body to my ear. No golden ears here, I just like my music.

OK gave Dirac a shot with my UMIK-1. I guess I have a steep learning curve to climb as after measuring several times, each time the result just seems to knock out the bass, sounds very flat. Will have to try again tomorrow after some more reading. Bluesound Icon -> Buckeye Purifi amp -> LS50...

My Buckeye 1ET6525SA arrived today, excited to get home to try it out!
