Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th Gen) Interface Review

I have a 2i4 1st Gen that came out almost 15 years ago, and their drivers are still updated (the current ones came out less than 6 months ago). What about the drivers and their stability though? For music production, drivers are 90% of the reason why one would buy an interface.

Audiophile music player for Windows/Mac and your opinion...

Not that I want to promote foobar for the sake of it, but I believe you can do that with it.

Audiophile music player for Windows/Mac and your opinion...

It's a skin I found on github. It comes with a white theme, a compact player and you can customize pretty much everything by right clicking on a panel or an element. https://github.com/Ottodix/Eole-foobar-theme DeviantArt also has a bunch of skins, icons and what not for foobar.

Audiophile music player for Windows/Mac and your opinion...

That's exacty why I'm using Foobar. It might not look shiny or modern, but once you've found a skin that you like, it does everything you ask the software to do. It's simple and free, which is perfect.

New PC build for audio and video

Don't trust cpubenchmark, it's notoriously known to be inaccurate to say the least. I'd rather use TechPowerUp, GamersNexus or HardwareUnboxed.

New PC build for audio and video

Depends on the kind of CPU you're looking for. Generally speaking, both AMD & Intel are about the same, though, the X3D ones are pretty insane. Also, make sure your DAW supports e/p cores if you go Intel, Cubase used to struggle with those for example.

Topping's new audio interface "E2X2" quick preview.

I didn't say all users, but many. The M2/M4 are notoriously known to have issues on Windows (especially on AMD hardware).

Topping's new audio interface "E2X2" quick preview.

Let's not pretend that Focusrite's drivers are good either. Same for MOTU's, it's barely useable on Windows for many users. Topping could become an important factor if they don't mess up.

    - Some skins accept the portable version, but not all. Some will ask you to put files in both appdata and in the main folder. - Deviantart or Github for skins. - ColumnsUI for the most important component, but it usually comes with the skin itself. - No conflict with DAWs. I use foobar with APO...

    TOPPING Audio Interfaces Coming soon!

Looks promising. Will have to see how stable it is and how good their drivers are. Everything else barely matters in the world of audio interfaces since they're all capable of recording the next grammy awards anyway.
