Received my ds2 today. Installed the HD bravo driver in windows 11, no luck with dsd. In Linux I was able to do dsd128 dop. Any ideas if there might be an updated firmware or maybe asio driver? Cheers

My suggestion is for the few folks that apparently were bother by the fact that Fosi have something in there as an option that you do not have to use it, but it still bothers them simply by the existence of that option being there.

@Fosi Audio - wonder if this is easy solution. Make a special limited ASR edition of the same dac, solder the opamp slot so it won’t allow swapping of opamps and sell at the same price. That should satisfy both camps

For pcm playback, may kte xlr output voltage is 5.8vrms, rca output voltage is 2.9vrms. Take half of that for dsd playback

Yes, customer service with Benchmark is second to none!!! I recalled hopping on to a call to discuss my setup with my 2 subs and the LP4 due to mismatch in output voltage for over an hour. If you have a dac xlr output at 4v you should add 10db input boost. Not for rca, LPA4 automatically bumped...

I just realize radio stations can be sorted by resolution. Great stuff!!! I have just added some hi res radio stations and work flawlessly.

I don’t use roon. Can you use roon to convert dsd source to pcm before feeding it to the qutest? That might potentially address that volume mismatch issue. There is not much point to feed dsd source to the qutest anyway since the qutest will convert it back to pcm at the end
